When Eleni McMullin first started Convey The Moment (@conveythemoment) as a space for women to find support in their fertility journey, she only thought it would be for a little while.

“My husband suggested I create an online community before it was really a thing, to keep myself busy during the wait. What we thought would be a couple months turned into a couple years, but I also found my passion, my community, and what I loved doing and decided to make it my full-time job,” Eleni explains.

A few years and an IVF treatment later, Eleni’s world is filled with busy and loving moments with her family — three children to be exact and showing her readers how examples of sustainable fashion can be stylish and fuss-free. In a way, it allows Eleni to create a sense of balance between her family’s needs, her creative expression, and her personal values.

“I would describe my style as Bohemian, Effortless and #Momlife appropriate — I still like to express myself through style even though I have three littles to tend to. I absolutely love adding to my wardrobe, but I am even more passionate about teaching others how to find little hacks to make what they have work.” - Eleni

In addition to examples of sustainable fashion, Convey The Moment also introduces a plethora of inspiration for vegan cuisine. Crispy cauliflower “wings” or one-pot lentil pasta anyone? How about home decor, and lots of useful advice for baby and maternity essentials? Eleni details these and other useful life and mom-hacks discovered through her journey.

Another unexpected and rewarding moment for Eleni was when she connected with Chelsea King scrunchies about a partnership. For both women, working with other businesses that share the same values is important when it comes to reaching out to brands and content creators alike.
“I remember Emily being so kind and supportive of Convey The Moment, from what I believed in to what I was doing online. Even when she was working with some of the biggest names in the industry, she still valued working with me! Also, I haven’t met a scrunchie that even compares to Chelsea King scrunchies, and I am hoping to spread the word,” Eleni said.

“Style and Grace means expressing yourself in a way that is true to you and expressing yourself creatively through the looks you put on each day, letting it be an addition to who you are on the inside. You don’t always need something new to feel good. Find ways to work with what you have and try mixing pieces you wouldn’t have thought of to add little touches to make it more you—like a hair accessory! There’s always a way to make something work whether you knot it up, tuck it in or figure out another alternative of making more use of what you have,” Eleni said.

The biggest value Eleni wants her readers to take from Convey The Moment, is that style is a balance of genuine self-expression while maximizing the potential of items already owned. More focus on the person, instead of a closet full of latest trends. Afterall, conveying the moment with style is a moment in and of itself.
