December holiday notices

To assist with your Holiday planning during the busiest time of year, we're listing our shipping courier estimates for the 2019 Holiday Season. If your hoping to ensure order arrival in time for Christmas it is recommended to have your orders placed on or before (Canada & International orders) Dec. 8, (USA orders) Dec. 16. This DOES NOT guarantee arrival, but offers the best chance of arrival with our carriers.

Monday, Dec. 23, 2019 - Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019

Orders placed during these dates will be picked for fulfillment on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019.

Monday, Dec. 30, 2019 - Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020

Orders placed during these dates will be picked for fulfillment on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020.

U.S. Thanksgiving notices

With the inordinate amount of shipments carriers deal with over the holidays it can, at times, create delays in estimated shipping times. We’ll do our best to keep you informed by adding any information received from our shipping partners here throughout the ‘Season’.

U.S. Thanksgiving Holiday

Please note that due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., as well as the busyness that comes with Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, shipping delays may occur. We will be operating as usual and adhering to our standard 1 to 3 day order processing times, however delays in transit may occur depending on carrier and carrier volume.

Holiday:    American Thanksgiving Holiday, Thursday, November 28, 2019.  

USPS Shipments

      • All U.S. destination orders placed on Tuesday, November 26 through Thursday, November 28 will be handed off to USPS on Friday, November 29.

International Shipments

      • All international shipments outside of Canada and the U.S. placed on Tuesday, November 26 through Thursday, November 28 will be handed off on Friday, November 29.

Canada Shipments

      • Order release will not be affected, however due to the increased volume of e-commerce over Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there may be some delays experience with Canada Post.

SHIPPING

In an effort to reduce environmental impact we do not include paper invoices with online orders. Order confirmations and shipping confirmations received by email will effectively act as your purchase receipt.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure all information provided is accurate. Chelsea King Inc. is not responsible for miss-shipments due to inaccurate shipping information provided by the buyer.

Where Do We Ship?

Currently, we ships within Canada and to the U.S.  

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times provided are estimations and are not guaranteed. They will always be reported in business days, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Shipment processing times are generally within one to three (1-3) business days of order placement. In the event of a processing delay caused by unexpected circumstances beyond our control, notification may not be provided as shipments will be processed as quickly as possible (i.e. inclement weather, customs delays, etc.).

*International delivery estimates vary by country. Domestic delivery estimates vary for destinations outside of the contiguous United States. The contiguous U.S. excludes Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and APO/FPO destinations.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

International packages shipping to locations outside of Canada and the U.S. may be subject to customs, duties and taxes which are determined by the destination country, the shipment value and the contents of the shipment.

Customs, import duties, and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchases. Please be aware that you may be required to pay applicable customs, duties and taxes before or upon delivery of your shipment.

Shipping Method

Following order placement, you will receive an 'order confirmation' email. Orders are then processed for shipping by our fulfillment team between one and three (1-3) business days following order placement. An email will be sent following your order being processed for shipping by our team.

Orders shipped within Canada are handle by Canada Post. Following the receipt of your order fulfillment email from our team, arrival times typically range between five to twelve (5-12) business days for 'Standard' shipping within Canada, and four to eight (4-8) business days for 'Tracked Parcel' options. For 'Tracked Parcel' shipping options tracking numbers will be updated to your order profile. 'Standard' shipping options selected within Canada DO NOT come with tracking in order to provide our Canadian customers a less expensive shipping option.

For orders shipping to the United States, we ship via USPS First Class Mail. Following the receipt of your order fulfillment email, arrival times typically range between four to eight (4-8) business days. Tracking information will be updated to your order following it's release with USPS.  

Please note that all arrival times listed are ESTIMATES ONLY and once in the hands of the shipping service selected, arrival times are out of our control and effectively in the hands of the courier service. Holidays and cross border shipments can cause additional delays in arrival.  

We commit to doing everything we can to ensure your order arrives in a timely manner, but cannot be held responsible for circumstances that remain out of our control including but not limited to courier / postal delays, border delays, incorrect shipping information provided by the buyer, or inclement weather.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges consist of the total amount of shipping as well as fees related to warehousing and fulfillment. Collectively 'Shipping and Handling'.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been fulfilled you will receive an email confirming it has shipped. Please note, tracking is only provided on orders shipped to the U.S. as well as orders within Canada where the 'Tracked Parcel' shipping option was selected. Tracking is not provided on 'Standard' shipping options within Canada. If your order includes tracking a tracking number will be added to your order profile once it has shipped.

Refused Shipments

We do our best to ensure your hair accessories arrive in perfect condition. However, in the unlikely event that your order arrives in a damaged condition, please accept the delivery and contact Chelsea King Inc. Support so we can get you sorted. Email: support@chelseaking.shop  

Redirecting Your Order

Please ensure your shipping address is correct. We cannot redirect orders once they ship. Sorry!

Order Cancellation or Changes

We start processing your order as quickly as possible to ensure it arrives to you in a timely manner. Due to this we may be unable to make changes or cancel your order once it is placed. In the event a cancellation or change request is necessary, please contact us by email immediately at support@chelseaking.shop and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Taxes

Prices displayed on the website do not include taxes. When you proceed to purchase your order, sales tax (where applicable) and shipping charges will be calculated on the total value of merchandise and will be displayed on the Order Summary page.

RETURNS

It’s important to us that you are happy with your Chelsea King Inc. hair accessories and scrunchies. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you are not satisfied by contacting support@chelseaking.shop.

Returns

Hair accessories purchased on our website, not including sale items can be returned within 30 days of the shipping date. Scrunchies and hair accessories must be returned unwashed, unworn and in their original condition. Product condition is left to the discretion of Chelsea King Inc.. Once received and product is deemed free of any damage, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment used to make your purchase. Refunds can take up to five (5) business days to show up following the date they are issued. Shipping charges and duties are ineligible for refund.  

Please note that we are not responsible for damages resulting from shipping, washing, or wear. Customers are responsible for any charges associated with shipping unless the reason for return is determined to be our error.

Hair accessories purchased from a retailer or other website must be returned to that seller directly.

For returns we recommend you use your own trackable and insured shipping method. Please mail your return to the following address. Chelsea King Inc. is not responsible for shipping fees or lost returns.

Please allow 2 - 3 weeks for processing. You will receive an email notification once your return has been processed. Orders will be refunded in the currency and method of payment used at time of purchase. Currency will be converted at the exchange rate selected by your issuing bank at the time the refund is issued.

Exchanges

We are not able to process exchanges for online orders.
