Chelsea King Inc. 's beginnings date back to 2013. After struggling to find the right product for my hair, I began working at creating my own for me and my daughter. Little did I know then, what an amazing opportunity this would turn into for our family and our growing team.

It's often assumed that my name is Chelsea King. I even find myself answering to ‘Chelsea’ when someone kindly reaches out or introduces themselves, but Chelsea King is not my name. It’s a Place. Years ago, my sister worked at The Savoy in London, England. It was while traveling to visit her that the inception of our company started to take shape. She lived in an amazing area. - Beautifully distinguished - Discreetly elegant - Charmingly confident.

We loved our walks around the area she lived. Down her street past the boutiques, quaint cafés and markets. It was on one of those walks in Chelsea, down King’s Rd. back to her flat. I fell in love with the charm that encapsulated her neighborhood.
We now have an network of artisans who do an increadible job of supporting our mission to create the highest quality, handmade hair accessories that Protect your hair with perfect hold™. From an effort to maintain the graceful aesthetic of where our name was derived. To developing hair accessories achieving a comfortable all-day hold. To an uncompromising approach towards quality and a celebration for the skills of our craftspeople creating them. It’s always been important for us to maintain a ‘hands-on’ approach to everything we make – trading the less expensive mass-produced alternatives for the quality created with passion that we can feel great both wearing and owning.
